Competitive Art Exhibition

12TH ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION
This year makes the 12th year for the Union Arts Council Art Show. This year's art show will be held at The Dance Studio of Union Parish at 301 N. Lafayette St, Farmerville LA  

Art can be brought into the Dance Studio to be entered on March 8th from 9-3.  Judging will take place on the 8th, starting at 3:00 pm sharp.  No entries will be accepted after 3:00 pm.  Art Exhibition and winners will be on display March 9th from 9:00-Noon.  For questions, call Beth Becton 318-789-8545

The show allows Union Parish artists to not only display their work, but have the opportunity to receive ribbons and cash prizes.  This year the council made the decision to not only invite current Union Parish artists, but also former Union Parish artists to enter their art work. The show focuses on several types of artists such as: Pro, Amateur and High Schoolers.

Leading up to the event each year, the council seeks area sponsors to give to the show to help make the event possible.  The money raised goes toward paying for the rental of the venue, the highly qualified judge, cash prizes, donation money to the schools, ribbons and more.  Special thanks to each who have given to the event.
