SHOP U.P. (UNION PARISH) DECEMBER 3, 1:00-5:00 PMThe Chamber of Commerce is hosting our "Old Fashion Christmas on the Square" event in the downtown area again this year, on December 2nd 2023. Event Chair Macy Ware and her committee have planned a great event, with many new activities.
We will have local arts and craft vendors, activities for kids, and an opportunity for photos with Santa. We will even have a fly-in from Santa. Don't miss it!!!
Plus we will have our traditional "Lighting of the Christmas Tree" at 6:00 pm in a new location, in front of the Union Parish Court House.
Our Christmas Parade will be starting at junction of West Boundary & Main St at 6:30 pm. Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be given, so put your best foot forward to win one of the awards.
Line up for the parade starts at 5:30 on West Boundary behind the old Farmerville School. Participants in the parade is free, but you need to complete an application form. Contact the chamber for the form, 318-368-3947
SHOP U.P. (UNION PARISH)
The next day, December 3, 1:00 - 5:00 pm, the Chamber will be conducting "Shop UP (Union Parish)". Merchants across the parish will be participating in the event. Shoppers must purchase items from participating merchants to receive tickets for drawings for many gift cards.
