SHOP U.P. (UNION PARISH) DECEMBER 7-8, 1:00-5:00 PMThe Town of Farmerville is hosting our "Charlie Brown Christmas on the Square" event in the downtown area again this year, on December 7th 2024. Event Chair Mary Barrios and her committee have planned a great event, with many new activities.
We will have local arts and craft vendors, activities for kids, and an opportunity for photos with Santa. We will even have Santa riding in on a horse drawn carriage. Don't miss it!!!
Plus we will have our traditional "Lighting of the Christmas Tree" at 6:00 pm in a new location, in front of the Union Parish Court House.
Our Christmas Parade will be starting at junction of West Boundary & Main St at 6:30 pm. Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be given, so put your best foot forward to win one of the awards.
Line up for the parade starts at 5:30 on West Boundary behind the old Farmerville School. Participants in the parade is free, but you need to complete an application form. Contact the town hall for the form, 318-368-9242
SHOP U.P. (UNION PARISH)
The same weekend, December 7-8th, 1:00 - 5:00 pm, the Chamber will be conducting "Shop UP (Union Parish)". Merchants across the parish will be participating in the event. Shoppers must purchase items from participating merchants to receive tickets for drawings for many gift cards.
